Remote_login_passwordfile

SQL> connect sys/oracle@192.168.0.11:1524/oracle as sysdba
ERROR:
ORA-01031: insufficient privileges

when you get this error .. it simply means that your password file is non existent in the DB to which you wanna connect..PHYSICALLY it does not exist...

When you create password file using ORAPWD then you would get the connection made...

SQL> connect sys/oracle@192.168.0.11:1524/oracle as sysdba
Connected........

This is done when remote_login_passwordfile is set to exclusive and PRESENT physically ...

Lets say the password file is physically present and you have set remote_login_passwordfile to NONE... you get the following error...

SQL> connect sys/oracle@192.168.0.11:1524/oracle as sysdba
ERROR:
ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied

Now.. if you set it to exclusive like this...

SQL> alter system set remote_login_passwordfile=exclusive scope=spfile;

SQL> connect sys/oracle@192.168.0.11:1524/oracle as sysdba
Connected.

Then it would work again... :-)...

ceiling filled with blood
that always flood

now i seriously feel
that genuinly there is a need to heal
heal all helpless
cause GOD has given us some powers
to climb up high towers
towers of success in life
which unluckily some out there are deprived
so heal ... as long as you can
heal generously
if not now then afterwards
when u think u r capable of
cause capability comes with the time
and with time somtimes comes the power
so all heal with the available powers
if not all then atleast one
but heal ............................

LIFE

It has been a long time since i am thinking to blog but this busy life didnt gave me the time to do so . Or I should say I was too busy planning out things which in the end i didn't do . Yes , thats what life is actually and thats what life teaches us ; to be adjusting ; to compromise; to deal differently with different people in different situations ; to deal with oneself . Now since this blog is more about life so I shall be stressing upon it only. Just a four letter word that actually is 40 million err.. trillion or may be more times complex . "They" say you need to laugh in life or else life would be laughing at you afterwards . So what is necessary to do , rather what is more obvious that we should be doing in life? Laughing at good and bad times or .. Anyways we shall come to this stuff after sometime .Now we shall take up this topic in a much broader sense . What shoud be done in life ? Do we need to fight and at the same time be patient ; should we be responsible and at the same time be ruffians ? Wat are the common people supposed to do in their lifespans ? Just earning bread for their families and living different days of their lives with same stuff repeating in a very monotonous manner . Because everyone can't dare and lead a "different" life than they were suppose to . Can't there be such a system that actually support a common mans way of living ? In the end we all say " This is life I suppose " ; but thats not the end to it .. is it ?
